Five best friends from a blue-collar American city got together and started a band. They took intimate urban stories of broken hearts, bad drugs, blissful sex, and busted dreams and turned them into one alternative rock cult favorite after another.
Then, they crossed into the next dimension with a bold depiction of the big sound they’d always hinted at uplifted on a high of gospel harmonies, horn solos, and the kind of lyrics you get tattooed in places you want people to see (and places you don’t want people to see).
After racking up 50 million streams and receiving praise from Forbes, Billboard, and more, the proud Philadelphia quintet—Collin Walsh [lead vocals], Andrew Kyne [guitar], Nick Ventimiglia [bass], Dallas Molster [guitar], and Nick Veno [drums]—open up themselves and their sound. “This band is how we express ourselves,” affirms Collin. “I come from an old school Irish family that didn’t talk about feelings. This band means so much to me, because I’ve been best friends with these guys since I was 13-years-old. We’ve known each other for 60% of our lives at this point. These are real stories. We love what we do. It’s why we’re alive.” - Concord
Nightly
Playing glossy contemporary pop with a romantic spirit, Nightly are a duo with a gift for blending heartfelt emotions with the cool, sleek surfaces of electronic pop. They first attracted a major audience with their viral breakup anthem, 2016's "XO." After a series of EPs, the pair delivered their full-length debut, night, love you., in 2020. More dreamy vibes arrived with their 2021 companion, night, love you. [Alt EP]. After a steady stream of single tracks and collaborative songs, Nightly presented their fans with another full-length album, 2023's dance-friendly wear your heart out, and they offered a more introspective perspective on 2025's songs to drive to.
Between March and July of 2023, Nightly issued four fresh songs -- "radiohead," "dry eyes," "wear your heart out," and "like I do." The four tunes turned out to be a preview of Nightly's second LP, wear your heart out, which arrived the following August. The album also introduced a third member of Nightly, multi-instrumentalist Nicholas Sainato. Having left BMG, the LP was issued independently by the band itself. Nightly were occupied with live work through most of 2024, though they did guest on a single by Georgia Webster, "This Ain't a Breakup." In March 2025, the group's third album was issued, the contemplative yet engaging songs to drive to. Only a month later, the hard-working trio debuted a non-LP single, "Everything Can Change." - Allmusic
The Maine
Following the release of standout singles – “Die To Fall,” “Quiet Part Loud” and “Palms,”– today The Maine – John O’Callaghan, Kennedy Brock, Jared Monaco, Garrett Nickelsen, and Pat Kirch – proudly unveil their tenth studio LP, Joy Next Door.
“I wanted to make an album that felt like the exact moments I had been wandering in for the better part of the last two years,” O’Callaghan says of the thrilling new LP. “And for the first time I wanted to speak as honestly as possible without being dramatic. ‘Joy Next Door’ isn’t about a crisis or a breakthrough, but more about a rather specific in-between; which is odd considering it’s our tenth studio album. And though it can’t guarantee happiness, I hope it’s a reminder that it’s more often than not closer than we think. Or at the very least, it gives you permission to sit in your own in-between without the worry of labeling it as good or bad.”
Coinciding with the much-anticipated release of Joy Next Door, The Maine also now reveal a trio of singles from the new album – the propulsive and guitar-anchored standout “Half A Spark” and “Green,” the acoustic-guitar-led confession – in addition to their respective, accompanying music videos.
The Maine are currently in the midst of their first Stateside headline tour in nearly two years — the biggest on sale of their career to date –and will cross the pond later this year for an 8-city European headline tour kicking off this September, the beloved five-piece’s biggest European outing to date.
Arriving at the height of the band’s career, Joy Next Door is arguably the band’s most essential album yet. Unsurprisingly for a band that’s always valued the artistry and craft of an album, the new LP was written and recorded in sequential order to emphasize the storytelling approach to the LP. Furthermore, following the band’s longstanding tradition of each era relating to a specific color, the Joy Next Door era is green. - Muses
