Don Broco @ TESTBED
Don Broco x Ando San

Ando San
Ando San took to the stage at Leeds, TESTBED. Opening for Don Broco and becoming the first ever live band at this new venue. Ando San had the job of warming up the crowd and setting the tone for the evening and they definitely delivered.
Ando San plays music he describes as ‘prog-hop’ which focuses heavily of progressive guitar and hip hop beats, a really original sound and performed great live. This was definitely a great opener choice for Don Broco as Don Broco are also very genre mixed so it worked really well.
Ando San proved to be a brilliant live act, with heavy beats and fast paced tracks that got the crowd moving and ready for Don Broco. His set was the perfect way to build up the energy in the room. He was a completely new artist to me, but by the time the concert was over I was hooked. A fantastic discovery and an artist to definitely keep an eye on.
Don Broco
Don Broco wasted absolutely no time in bringing to Leeds new venue TESTBED. This was the first band concert the venue had hosted and they set it off with a bang. They started delivering a performance that had the crowd going wild from the very first song. From the moment they stepped on stage, the atmosphere was electric, setting the tone for a night full of chaos and unforgettable moments.
Opening with two of my personal favourites, True Believers and Nightmare tripping from their newest album Nightmare Tripping from earlier this year. The best way to open their concert with these high energy songs. Hearing these tracks live was an incredible experience, and they immediately got the crowd moving. It was clear there was a great connection with the crowd straight from the start as two songs in there were already crowd surfers making their way over.
The crowd was one of the highlights of the night itself as well. The atmosphere felt like a proper celebration of live music and just everyone enjoying themselves. The iconic Yorkshire chant rang out through the venue adding a real sense of local pride to the night. There was a genuine feeling of togetherness with everyone singing, jumping and just having a good time.
What makes Don Broco such a brilliant live band is their ability to turn the concert into an experience rather than just a set of songs. Their high-energy performance never let up and the connection that brought to the huge crowd made TESTBED feel alive.
